When cleaning your tack we use either Tanner's Saddle Soap or Leather Therapy Wash. Both of these cleaners contain a sporicide which inhibits mold and mildew, keeping your tack cleaner - longer. If conditioning your tack, we use Leather Therapy Conditioner to help add moisture and pliability. When we "dip" tack, we immerse the leather into a bucket of Tanner's Leather Oil. This process breathes life back into old, stiff leather and darkens light leather to a beautiful Havana color. 

Contrary to popular belief, a saddle is impossible to "dip" in the same way a bridle would be "dipped." If you immersed a wool or foam flocked saddle into a bucket of oil, the wool and foam would both absorb the oil like a sponge. Every time you would girth up your saddle on your horse, the oil would come spilling out onto your horses back. Instead, when we "dip" saddles, we continually sponge oil over every inch of the saddle - except the panels.

The end result is a wonderfully dark, soft, supple saddle.
